I recently hired In Its Place Organizing to help me with an organizing problem that's I've had since we moved into our house!   Every other part of my house is pretty organized but the basement storage area became the catchall for everything from holiday supplies, craft supplies, paint cans and tools, luggage, little used platters and dishes, etc.   I tried many times to organize this space but no matter what I did I could never really get a handle on it.   I finally decided I needed help.   What they did to this room is amazing! I had In Its Place Organizing come organize part of my basement. The rest of my house is pretty organized and clean but the basement has been a storage area for everything! Karen helped me go through all the items and totes that I had and we organized them and threw out what I didn't need to keep. I have had a lot of the stuff down there since we bought the house and tried many times to get rid of it, but never quite got a handle on it and got really overwhelmed. She was so friendly and encouraging and very sympathetic to my anxiety about getting rid of things.
